[경제]쌀....도 위기? 베트남-태국 쌀회담 10월 6-7일

 

BANGKOK/HANOI -- Vietnam and Thailand, the world's second- and third-largest rice exporters, 

will hold talks to raise export prices for rice.

Thai Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Chalermchai Sri-on will visit 

Vietnam on Oct. 6-7 for talks with Vietnamese Agriculture and 

Rural Development Minister Le Minh Hoan regarding the countries' agricultural cooperation including rice export prices,

 Thai government officials said.
방콕/하노이 -- 세계 2, 3위의 쌀 수출국인 베트남과 태국이 쌀 수출 가격을 인상하기 위해 회담을 가질 것
찰름차이 스리온 태국 농협장관은 10월 6~7일 베트남을 방문해 레민 호안 베트남 농업농촌개발장관과 쌀 수출가격 등 각국의 농업협력에 대해 협의할 예정이라고 태국 정부 관계자가 밝혔다.

 

 

"The agreement is the first step taken in cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam to help rice farmers gain fairer

 export prices using the pricing mechanism in the global market," Mr Chalermchai said.
샬러차이 장관은 "이번 협정은 쌀 농가들이 세계 시장에서 가격 결정 메커니즘을 사용하여 더 공정한 수출 가격을 얻을 수 있도록 돕기 위해 태국과 베트남이 협력하여 취한 첫 번째 조치"라고 말했다.
